I am an economist sincerely interested in studying the relationship between human activities and the environment. My ultimate goal is to produce evidence-based research that supports sustainable, climate-neutral systems across human activities.
I am a Research Associate in the Socio-Economic Marine Research Unit (SEMRU) at the National University of Ireland Galway (University of Galway). Prior to this position, I was a Postdoctoral research scholar in dairy and management economics at the University of California, Davis.
I hold a PhD in Economics from the University of Galway, funded by Teagasc Walsh Scholarships.
I use econometrics and data science to address practical questions related to productivity, economic feasibility and efficiency. My work is multidisciplinary; I have collaborated with experts in human health, livestock nutrition, animal welfare, zoonotic diseases, solar panel reactors, and marine science.
My teaching experience spans both undergraduate and postgraduate levels, where I strive to bring an interdisciplinary approach to my lectures.
